Have you ever had problems with CPU or database related performance of your web host? Did you try to find out what they promised you for performance on that part? Did you find anything?
I tried and did not find anything. When things constantly slowed down to a crawl on my shared web host I decided to setup simple tests. This site is about sharing the results of such tests.
Here is the idea for how to do that.
Under pages I will present different hosts. (Currently there is only my current hosts.)
